We had been looking online for outdoor furniture for some time and came across Luxury Outdoor Living (LOL). We really liked their furniture and it suited what we were trying to achieve, although it wasn’t cheap (ill come back to this later!)
We are based in Wicklow, Ireland and LOL did not have an office/showroom here so I decided to make the trip over to the UK for the day to look at the exact furniture we had selected. Firstly, the manager (Jamie Lloyd-Cox) came in on the weekend when the store was closed to show me around (I couldn’t get there during the week). I got to see nearly all the pieces we wanted and they are incredibly well made and very comfortable. We spoke more and agreed what the price and final invoice – as a side point, we bought a pizza oven also from the UK and Jamie helped to source that and put it in with our delivery which was super helpful!
We made the necessary payments for the furniture, delivery, VAT and customs and the items arrived spot on time. Jamie was ultra communicative with me and ensured everything was delivered on time and setup as required.
So back to the cost piece – the furniture we purchased is more comfortable than the furniture we have inside our house!! Plus the customer service was out of this world and felt like the guys were really on the case (thanks Jamie!!) There’s an old adage “You get what you pay for” and we truly feel like we got a good deal with the items we bought.
We’re finishing the build on our home but once done, ill post the photos up of the furniture in place!
